我們每天都能在大巨蛋以及南港展覽館維持極高的活動品質；其中，友誼之家更是我所記得最美麗的一次之一，而各項分組研討會的內容也十分紮實，參與人數踴躍，成果豐碩。
不過，我認為您把這次成功歸功於我的程度，實在是太過抬舉我了。這次年會的成功，其實是歸功於一個傑出的團隊。他們多年來不辭辛勞地付出，面對無數困難卻始終沒有失去希望，反而一次又一次以更大的熱忱投入工作。
你們每一位都完成了一項了不起的任務 ── 包括整個籌備團隊，當然也包括您。您以沉穩而慷慨的領導方式帶領著大家，成就了這場盛會。我將永遠對您、您的團隊、台北，以及全體台灣人民，懷抱最深的感激與敬意。

Dear Jackson,
Thank you for your very kind letter. I, too, think the Taipei Convention was a huge success.
We managed to maintain an excellent standard every day at the Dome as well as at TaiNEX, where we had one of the most beautiful Houses of Friendship I can remember and a solid, well-attended program of breakout sessions.
However, I think you’re exaggerating in attributing such an important role to me in this success. This success is actually due to a wonderful team that has worked tirelessly for many years, facing countless difficulties but never losing hope—and, in fact, always committing themselves with even greater enthusiasm.
You’ve all done a fantastic job: the entire team and, of course, you, who led them with a steady and generous hand. I will never cease to be grateful and appreciative to you, your team, Taipei, and all of Taiwan.
Please convey my immense gratitude to everyone.
